Our Virtual Church

Whilst the church continues to be alive and active, our church building has now closed to physically distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection.

Following on from The Archbishop of Canterbury's national broadcast, the Church of England has responded very positively to the challenge of becoming a different sort of church.  Although we all need to stay at home, Christians have been reminded of the importance of praying regularly and to explore new ways of worshipping.

We have, therefore, created our own virtual church offering different ways in which you can take part online.

It is important that during this time of uncertainty and fear, let us help one another by keeping in contact with friends and neighbours amongst your own networks.  Each member of our church will be receiving regular phone calls to see how they are getting on.   If you are in urgent need of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact either Matthew or Jonny.  Click here

None of us know how long this current situation will last, but we will continue updating our website with different ways in which we can worship, learn, grow and pray together as members of the body of Christ.

Prayer for Saturday 4th April 2020

Gracious Father,
you gave up your Son
out of love for the world:
lead us to ponder the mysteries of his passion,
that we may know eternal peace
through the shedding of our Saviour’s blood,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
