Youth 

 
Following a consultation in January 2023 with our high school aged members, we have established a social group for Years 7-11 which currently meets once each half term.  Activities vary between games and pizza night at The Rectory, and outings such as bowling or laser tag (costs for outings are kept as low as possible).  

The group felt this social connection with each other, and with a selection of adult leaders whom they trust (and are appropriate people to turn to when they have questions around faith specifically or life in general), was what they most wanted to help them feel part of the church and able to explore their faith in their own time and space.  For those who already want a more direct spiritual input, the possibility of something like a youth home group is currently being explored.

Our youth team are appointed after an interview has taken place, a DBS Check to Enhanced level is obtained and only once the Church of England's safeguarding training has been completed.
