Welcome to St John's

Individual Prayer

Following the closure of the Church due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are pleased to announce that from 15th June the Church can re-open each day for individual prayer from 10.30am-12.30pm.

Communion Services

We are currently able to hold two services each week, both with holy communion:  Sundays (9.30am-10.10am) and Wednesdays (10.30am-11am).
Please let us know if you are planning to attend by contacting the Revd Jonny Rapson (click here).

We will continue to provide online prayer, worship, study and community life for those people who are shielded or cannot attend in person.  See our Virtual Church Page.

The Coronavirus regulations require that there will be no hymns, peace, pew sheets, or Bibles.  Communion will be administered in one kind only with no sharing of the common cup.  Communicants will receive the bread only in the hand.  We will of course supply hand gel for use prior to entry/exit and during the service, and we would strongly advise you to wear face coverings and gloves.  A full risk assessment has been conducted and Stewards will meet you at the South Door and direct you to the available pews.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact either Matthew or Jonny.  Click here

We look forward to welcoming you back to our Church.

”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . .
Love your neighbour as yourself.  There is no commandment greater than these.”
